How to Remove Information from GitHub

If your personal information has been exposed on GitHub either you posted it yourself or another user posted it. In the former case simply log into your GitHub account and edit/delete the information you inadvertently posted. If the latter you have two options: 1) message the user who posted your personal information and ask that it be removed or if this is an abusive act by another user 2) contact GitHub and report the user abusing the platform.
