Step by step

How to opt out of US Search

Open the PeopleConnect Suppression CenterGo to suppression.peopleconnect.us, enter an email address, accept the terms, and click Continue.
Verify your emailClick the VERIFY EMAIL link in the message from PeopleConnect. The link expires after about 15 minutes.
Enter your date of birth and legal nameAdd any former names, such as a maiden name, so all matching records appear.
Select your recordReview the aliases and locations on the Matching Records page and select the record that is you.
Verify a contact methodChoose a phone number or email already on your record, request a verification code, and enter it.
Set the record to SuppressedClick Continue, set Desired Behavior to Suppressed, and click Save. Verification alone does not hide the record.

The Suppression Center covers name searches on PeopleConnect brands. Classmates.com is handled separately. If you cannot access any contact method on your record, email privacy@peopleconnect.us.

After you opt out

Search your name on the site again in a private browser window to confirm the listing is gone.
Opt out of related sites separately; one request rarely covers every brand.
If Google still shows the old page, use Google’s Refresh Outdated Content tool once the listing is removed.
Re-check every few months, because people-search profiles can reappear when databases refresh.
