How to get content removed from YouTube
- Delete your own videosSign in, open YouTube Studio, select the videos, and delete them or set them to private.
- File a privacy complaintFor videos others posted that identify you, use YouTube’s privacy complaint process and give timestamps showing where you appear.
- Report harassment or impersonationUse the report option on the video or channel for harassment, threats, or a channel pretending to be you.
- Ask the uploader firstYouTube may give the uploader 48 hours to edit or remove the content before it reviews your complaint.
- Clean up searchAfter removal, use Google’s Refresh Outdated Content tool for lingering results.
